Laura Legeay explores shapes with plaster and makes them come to life as objects through ceramics, using the slip cast technique. For her first collection of stoneware vases she developed 2 shapes in different sizes and finishes. She is inspired by modern sculpture and organic curves from nature.
In a very simple and pure spirit, reminiscent of Brancusi's studio photographs, where black and white sublimates the objects that become sculptures.
